The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Forest Practices Training Program is committed to fostering excellence in knowledge and practice among a wide range of internal and external stakeholders while delivering comprehensive training, resources and materials to a diverse audience. This includes DNR staff, Timber, Fish and Wildlife members, as well as landowners, their representatives, and other parties with an interest in forest practices.
 
This program aims to educate and ensure forest practices laws, rules and policies are carried out effectively and responsibly. Our dedicated approach enhances the competency of individuals involved and significantly contributes to the sustainability and health of our forests and wildlife habitats, while supporting the vitality of a thriving timber industry.
