Washington Trails Association - West Fork Trailwork Party

Washington Trails Association is hosting a series of one day work parties from May 2-5, folks can sign up for a single day, or for multiple days. Volunteers are invited to stay at the Teanaway Campground. This work will be new trail development for non-motorized trails, based out of the West Fork of the Teanaway Community Forest. Work will include use of hand tools including shovels, Pulaskis, McLeods, etc. Registration through WTA required to attend.
 
What to Bring
Volunteers should bring food and water, camping gear (if staying multiple days), boots, and dress for working in the outdoors. Work gloves and eye protection are recommended.
 
Directions
Start at I-90 exit 85 (Cle Elum). Go east on SR 970 for 6.9 miles. Turn left on Teanaway Road. Go 7.3 miles. Turn left on the West Fork Teanaway Road and continue straight for 1.2 miles to the end of pavement and an informal parking area on the left side of the road. Landmarks along the West Fork Teanaway Road include the Teanaway Campground on the left at 0.6 miles and the Middle Fork Teanaway Road and fire station on the right at 0.7 miles.
