Many small forest landowners choose to write forest stewardship plans to help them plan for the long term, whether they’re interested in harvesting soon or are looking out for the next generation.

- The Washington State University Extension Program offers regular Stewardship Coached Planning and similar classes, many in partnership with DNR, which help small landowners prepare stewardship plans and learn about managing their land.
