New Capitol State Forest map released

OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources has released an updated Capitol State Forest recreation map. The previous edition was released in 2002.

Updated Capitol State Forest map available for purchase.

The new map has a number of additions:
• New trail and forest road names
• More precise elevation data
• Detailed map of the Middle Waddell, Margaret McKenny, and Mima Falls areas.
• Tips for ‘Playing it Safe’ in the forest
• A ‘Recreation Fun Guide’ to get you started …and much more.
