Wildfire suppression efforts continue closure at Naneum Ridge State Forest
Area and road west of Coleman Creek Road closed to walk-in and vehicle access
OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has closed a portion of the Naneum Ridge State Forest, located North of Ellensburg in Kittitas County, to protect both firefighters and the public as crews continue to monitor the Table Mountain Fire. The closure includes the area west of Coleman Creek Road. The area will remain closed at least through the weekend. Closure includes both vehicle and walk-in access. Hunters are encouraged to visit Colockum, Quiloomene, and Whiskey Dick Wildlife areas, managed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW)
